St.Croix River is the natural border between MN and WI. It’s valley is the place of first MN settlers. That is why we can find historic towns here, with antique and old fashioned shops, wineries, artist studios, etc. Along the river’s banks there are numerous parks, worth to see. Every single town in its valley has this unique atmosphere, so has Hudson, WI. This town has long been considered the western gateway to Wisconsin. Our walk here lead us through the main street with eclectic shops and galleries, and finally to the Lakefront Park with its large marina and long dike.
