Enjoying Gull Lake and surroundings

Gull Lake is one of the biggest lakes on the northern lands of MN, only 2 hours drive from Twin Cities. Brainerd and Baxter are the most popular cities there and gather quite a decent amount of MN holiday makers. Also lots of Twin Cities habitants have their summer cabins there. This region is especially popular amongst rich part of Minnesotans, who have their whole-year-second-houses there, with all the luxury equipment around. This is also why the lakeshore of Gull Lake is taken by private villas and high-standard resorts which normal people could never afford. Nevertheless, it is still worth going there and see the beauty of nature; pinewoods, lakes, biketrails. It is also fun to see Nisswa – the small city ‘invented’ for bored wives of wealthy villa-owners. With its unique atmosphere, antique shops and coffeehouses it looks like it doesn’t fit the neighborhood. Yet, it does
