Salt Lake City – Utah’s capital spreads over the valley of Wasatch Mountains. Its name comes from the Great Salt Lake located nearby. Views around the city are unusually stunning and so different from Minnesota’s nature. Traffic here is easy, even in rush hours. And the accents of 2002 Olympics are visible everywhere. Not to mention the Rice-Eccles stadium which held opening and closing ceremonies in 2002 (and will again in 2034). Great Salt Lake state park offers unique experience at the salty lake (including smell attractions) and the best view of the neighbor KUC smelter.
